/Team AMRAP with Visitors
- 50 Double Unders
- 25 GHD Sit-ups
- 10 Deadlifts (225/100kg)
I didn't count rounds today—just kidding, of course I did. We had a fantastic group with some long-awaited returns and new visitors. Jacob and Wade made their comeback after being away for a long stretch, and Matt Phillips brought his crew from up the street to check out what we're doing at RRL.
The team workout format was solid but slightly confusing for some of the newcomers who had never done it before. We had a very large group today: Cyle, Rusty, Keith, Wade, Jacob, me, Jody, Matt, Matt Keenan, Jim, and March. The energy was electric with all the bodies moving.
This 20-minute AMRAP was a grinder—double unders to get the heart rate up, GHD sit-ups to tax the core, then heavy deadlifts at 225 pounds. The team format kept everyone pushing when they might have eased up solo. That's the beauty of training together at 5AM—accountability and encouragement when the reps start adding up.
Great to have Jacob and Wade back in the mix, and hopefully Matt's crew got a taste of what the Red Rocket Lounge is all about. This is how we start Sundays in Chattanooga.
