Rain was hammering Chattanooga before dawn. The kind of morning where most people roll over and go back to sleep. Not these guys. Rusty, Chad, and I showed up anyway and set up in the garage with what we had — ski ergs, bikes, rower, dumbbells, and a clock set for sixty minutes.

We made an audible at the start. Pull-ups were on the menu but the rig was getting soaked, so we cut them and took a one-minute rest instead every sixth minute. Kept the rest of the deal honest. Started at ten reps of everything on the first round, climbed to fifteen by the middle, then brought it back down. An hour of steady work with no wasted time.

There is something about a long grind like that. No flash. No drama. Just three guys rotating through stations, keeping the pace, getting after it for a full hour. Everybody earned the belt today.

Sauna after, then coffee. Good way to start a rainy Thursday.
