Thursday morning started with a barbell complex that had some real purpose to it. Power snatches building to 115, hang power cleans up to 155, and power jerks at 155. The kind of work that makes you think about every position. Nothing heavy enough to be reckless, heavy enough that you better be paying attention.

Then the deal for the day. Thirty-minute tag team AMRAP with a partner. Twelve pull-ups, twelve single arm dumbbell snatches at 50, twelve calories on the assault bike. I partnered with Will Ensign and the man was a machine. We put up 17 rounds plus change. Kim and Chad were grinding together, and Alan, Ethan, and David Elliott ran a three-person squad. Moose was the only dog on the scene today, holding down the fort for the canine contingent.

Good way to start the day. The tag team format keeps the intensity honest because nobody wants to be the guy resting while his partner is doing the work. Ensign gets my vote for the belt. The man showed up and earned it.

Also crossed 42,500 career pull-up reps somewhere in there. Didn't feel it at the time. That's the deal with this stuff. You just keep showing up and the numbers take care of themselves.
