/Tuesday Grind
- • 4 minutes Sandbag Bear Hug Hold (125 lbs)
- • 4 minutes Handstand Hold
- • 4 minutes Kettlebell Front Rack Carry (24 kg)
- • 3 Wall Walks
- • 12 Single Arm Dumbbell Snatches (50 lbs)
- • 15 Box Jump Overs
Good group today on a cold morning. Six of us grinding through holds and wall walks while the temperature hovered around freezing outside.
Those 4-minute holds were tougher than I thought they'd be. The sandbag bear hug at 125 pounds starts easy but by minute three your entire core is screaming. The handstand hold was probably the hardest — four minutes inverted is a long time, breaking it into sets, shaking out the shoulders, getting back up. The kettlebell front rack carry was the most manageable, just keep moving, keep breathing.
The AMRAP was a different beast. Wall walks slow everyone down — they're supposed to. Three reps doesn't sound like much until you're on round five and your shoulders are cooked. The dumbbell snatches at 50 pounds were manageable, alternating arms, finding a rhythm. Box jump overs just keep you honest, keep you moving when you want to rest.
Seven rounds plus four reps was enough to take the chain today. Solid Tuesday work with a good crew. Sometimes it's not about being the fastest, it's about being the most consistent. Keep moving, keep pushing, collect the hardware.
