/Recovery Day
After a brutal week of workouts, we earned an easy day. Sometimes the best training is knowing when to back off and let the body recover. Active recovery at its finest.
Simple format: 300 calories on any machine, any combination you want. Row them all, bike them all, mix and match — dealer's choice. Winner gets the turnover chain.
Four of us showed up — me, Rusty, Ethan, and Alan. Small crew for a recovery day, which is exactly right. The guys who needed the rest took it. The guys who wanted to move showed up.
Rusty took the chain today. Steady, consistent, got it done. That's what recovery days are about — moving without destroying yourself, earning tomorrow's hard work with today's smart work.
Sometimes the easiest workouts are the most important ones. Tomorrow we'll be back to the regular programming, but today was about blood flow, movement, and letting the body catch up to what we've been putting it through.
